Exploring Subtraction Through Hands-On Learning!
Our UKG students embarked on an exciting journey to understand subtraction through a series of engaging, hands-on activities. Using ice cream sticks, water bottles, colors, and other real-life objects, they explored the concept in a fun and interactive way.
A subtraction story brought learning to life as they helped figure out how many chocolates the birthday boy had left after sharing them at his party. Taking their learning outdoors, they also collected leaves from the garden, removed a few, and counted how many remained, reinforcing the idea through real-world experiences.
These activities not only deepened their understanding of subtraction but also strengthened their counting, comparison, and problem-solving skills. Learning through play made the entire experience enjoyable, ensuring that the young learners grasped the concept with enthusiasm and confidence!
