Grade VII Students Bring Learning to Life!

Inspired by John Holt's belief that "Learning is not the product of teaching. Learning is the product of the activity of learners," our Grade VII students recently engaged in a dynamic, hands-on project that blended Science and History in a creative and memorable way.

Exploring Earth's Layers & Rock Cycle

Utilizing the interactive board, students presented animations and real-life images to illustrate the Earth's layers, types of rocks, and the rock cycle. Their informative posters not only showcased their understanding but also facilitated peer learning through gallery walks and mini-presentations.

Stepping into History

In History class, students crafted masks representing medieval rulers like Alauddin Khalji and Muhammad bin Tughluq. This led to engaging role plays where they enacted significant events and policies from these rulers' reigns, bringing History to life.

This interdisciplinary approach not only deepened students' understanding but also fostered collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
