Grade IV students began their chapter on Adjectives with an engaging and interactive activity. The session started with the teacher showing a variety of objects such as a butterfly, flowers, the Golden Temple and soft toys etc. Students were encouraged to describe these items by sharing their qualities, which naturally led to the introduction of the concept of adjectives.
Once the concept was clear, the teacher explained the different types of adjectives — Adjectives of Quality, Quantity, and Number. To reinforce learning, students drew creative pictures representing each type of adjective. They also made colourful face masks and wrote various adjectives describing themselves on them.
The fun continued with a series of games and quizzes designed to assess their understanding in an enjoyable way. This hands-on approach not only helped students grasp the concept thoroughly but also allowed them to express their creativity while learning
