Students of Class III enthusiastically participated in a theme-based activity on “Animals Around Us.”
They were introduced to pets and domestic animals found in their surroundings, and through an engaging video, they also learned about wild animals and their natural habitats.
The children explored animal food habits—herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores—with real-life examples.
Two exciting hands-on activities followed—
Students made illustrations showing animals and their homes such as lion–den, camel–desert, cow–shed, and sheep–pen.
They also took a heartfelt pledge to always treat animals with kindness, compassion, and respect. The pledge included protecting habitats, standing against cruelty, and spreading love and awareness for animal welfare.
This activity not only enhanced their knowledge but also nurtured sensitivity, empathy, and responsibility towards all living beings.
