The students of Grade V A and Bpresented a vibrant and heartwarming assembly to celebrate the joyous festival of Diwali. The celebration brimmed with colour, creativity, and festive energy, as students came together to showcase the real meaning of Diwali — the return of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman from exile, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.
The children captivated everyone through a graceful dance drama that beautifully portrayed this divine homecoming. Each movement and expression reflected devotion, happiness, and the spirit of togetherness.
A special highlight of the morning was a mesmerising depiction of the five days of Diwali — Dhanteras, Naraka Chaturdashi, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj. Through expressive gestures, rhythmic coordination, and heartfelt performances, the students brought alive the meaning and essence of each day, spreading messages of unity, gratitude, and joy.
The entire assembly radiated warmth and positivity, reminding everyone that festivals become truly meaningful when celebrated with love, respect, and a spirit of giving. The atmosphere was filled with festive cheer, leaving the audience smiling and inspired by Diwali’s timeless message — light always triumphs over darkness.
The Principal, Ms. Neelu Sharma, appreciated the students for bringing alive the spirit of Diwali through their performances and shared her warm wishes with all. She reminded everyone that the true celebration of Diwali lies not just in lighting diyas, but in illuminating hearts with kindness, compassion, and gratitude.
